I purchased a Hummer H2 from a private party in Pennsylvania and needed it shipped to Sacramento, California. After my research, I contacted Wheeler shipping because her past client’s (reviews) gave her high remarks. After initially discussing my shipment with Sue Wheeler she assured me that she would start working immediately to find a suitable carrier and would keep me informed of the progress. During the 1st few days (because my H2 was larger and heaver than the average vehicle?) I began to see a pattern early on that many of the trucking companies were not extremely interested in hauling my H2. After waiting for about a week or more for a carrier, it was readily apparent that if I wanted my H2 shipped anytime soon, I would need to raise the price I was willing to pay to have it shipped (which I did). Let me just say that shipping a vehicle like this was extremely stressful for me the owner. However Sue Wheeler has excellent communications skills and kept me informed on a (almost) daily basis and at times multiple times a day. She was great about explaining the process of posting a load on the electronic system, contacting preferred companies, attractive pricing, and waiting for a nibble or bite from a good company. A few days later, Sue contacted me and said, Speedy Auto Shipping was going to be in the PA area and would pickup my H2 from Matt’s Auto Transport terminal in Stowe, PA. The pickup from PA didn’t occur as originally scheduled but Speedy Auto Shipping (SAS) made up the time during the transport to Sacramento. Lastly about the delivery, the drivers from Speedy called me when they were in Nevada, and provided me an ETA to the Sacramento area. They missed their arrival time by about 4 hours but the drivers keep me informed through-out the day (and evening) of their progress. The SAS crew was great! They took great care of my H2 and it arrived (expectedly) dirty but in great shape. I would highly recommend Wheeler Shipping for your auto transport needs. She not only found me a great carrier for the cross-country transport, she also arranged for Matt’s Auto Transport to initially pickup my H2 in PA and hold it for SAS. If I were to ship another vehicle, Wheeler Shipping would be the only one I would call.
