Our desire is for all our customers to have a good experience with Wheeler Shipping. We are very confidant in saying that we are trustworthy and reputable as you can see from our reviews.
We are sorry that Mr. Cooper feels that his experience was the worse possible transport he could imagine.
In reality this was a relatively smooth transport.
There was no “bait and switch“. It was just a matter of a Carrier calling and stating that he would like to move it for us, but that he would charge this amount to do so.
I presented the information to the customer and at his discretion he chose to except his proposal.
Brokers can not promise dates in this business.
The Carriers give us their estimated date of pickup and delivery.
There is always a window period for the carriers to pick up or deliver, due to various reasons, such as weather, traffic, flat tires, other customer's schedules ect.
In this case the Auto Dealership closed early on Saturday due to the Holiday and was not open for business again until the Tuesday after the Holiday. The driver picked up the car on Tuesday and had it delivered 6 days later. From Pennsylvania to California that is not bad.
Wheeler Shipping is always an advocate for the Customer and would never leave them “up the creek without a paddle“. We simply can not make the drivers break the law and drive faster than the law allows.
Perhaps if Vladimir the Driver was not harassed, Mr. Cooper would not of been told he could get it in the middle of the night.
I'm glad Vladimir waited till daylight.
