Comic Transport did notify his office in California where the vehicle was to be picked up and informed them that they had a break down and that they could pick up the vehicle later in the week.
Rosemary told them that it would be fine to do so.
Comic Transport also informed Wheeler Shipping of the situation.
I did contact Mr. James and updated him. We discussed the option of having another carrier transport his vehicle. He decided to wait and talk to Rosemary to confirm the arraignments she made with the carrier.
All went well and the vehicle did get picked up and on it’s way.
They did follow procedure and called the pickup contact as well as the broker (Wheeler Shipping)
Granted if they where going to be a number of days late at the delivery end they should of kept Wheeler Shipping as well as Mr. James informed.
