First time I ever used a transport company for a car. Of course when you submit your request you get a TON of replies. Mr. Jones seemed to be reasonable and very helpful. Until he signed me up as a customer. Then EVERYTHING changed. I should have known better when I got the paperwork and the deposit was $100 instead of $95. I contacted him and he changed it back to $95. But then, the dispatcher called me to tell me that "THEIR driver had a winch break and couldn't be to the pick up site by the date they told me but that they had a different company that they work with all the time that could but that it would cost an extra $50." I asked if the delivery would be the same, Friday, October 31, in time for my brother's homecoming from Africa (where he had been deployed). I was told absolutely, nothing would change, Mr. JOnes would continue to be by my side, gave me his direct line, everything.... Told me to call him on Thursday and he would have an update for me. I called on Thursday, ALL DAY, but never got in touch with MR. Jones. Needless to say, the car did not show up on Friday as arranged. I called, Xpress Transportation. Mr. Allen told me that he was sorry, he was off the day before, "WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME TO CALL YOU?" then he told me he would call the transport company and follow up with me. Instead of calling me back on the line he KNEW I WOULD BE AT, he called my home and left a message. My husband got the message and told me it was that I was to call the new transport company Grizzly Express (who will also be getting a review). The "owner" couldn't tell me what the status was, but that my car had arrived in his lot the night before (he is about two hours from me) but was curious why I was told that my car would be delivered on Friday. He told me to call Xpress Transportation, beginning at about noon I started calling Xpress. I was put directly into voicemail EACH TIME I CALLED. I sent EMAILS, they went unreturned. I called back Grizzly. He told me he had a truck going to Green Bay but then changed it and said La Crosse Monday Morning but that I would be the FIRST on the delivery at about 9 am. I did not get my car until almost 2 pm and the truck driver had changed drivers THREE TIMES.
As of today, November 3, 2015, I have still not heard back from Xpress Transportation. I paid for door to door delivery. But did not get it. I had to meet the truck in a truck stop 15 miles from my home, because they didn't do door to door like Xpress said they would. I left a message again for Xpress but still have not heard back. I asked for the original $700 price that I was quote but Grizzly declined and said I would have to take it up with Xpress. I recommend NOT USING either of these companies as they both mislead and falsify EVERYTHING they say!!!
