It really hurts Yellow Brick Transport , who prides in Customer service to ensure a honest, easy, and satisfying transport from door to door for our clients. In this specific incident Yellow Brick Transport told the client as we do with every client that you MUST do a good insurance inspection upon pick up and drop off of the vehicle. We informed her that once you accept the delivery and SIGN the paperwork which states you received your car in the same condition that it was picked up, no carrier or insurance company can approve a claim to avoid fraud claims towards insurance companies. When this unit was dropped off by the carrier, the client signed the paperwork which stated everything was in perfect condition . About one week after accepting delivery and having possession of the car she called our office to inform us she has damage done on the car, even after being informed that if any damages occur then she should call us right away and not to pay the driver or sign any paperwork, yet she signed the documents upon delivery. Even after this occurred, Yellow Brick Transport did everything in our power to try to get a claim processed with the carriers cargo insurance policy. Due to the fact that the client had possession for 1+ week after the delivery, the insurance company rejected her claim as the car could have been damaged anytime in that week period from when she received the delivery and the date she contacted us about it which was about a week . To show her that we care about our clients and to try to help them, we went ahead and refunded her the original broker fee she paid to us which made this a free job from Yellow Brick Transports side. This client along with any order we book is told upon paying the deposit to do a very good inspection upon pick up and delivery. Every agent here is given a work cell phone so if there are any issues upon delivery (which can be after hours at times) they can reach their assigned agent 24 hours a day 7 days a week to walk them though any issues that may occur . Had we received a call upon delivery this client would have received a full insurance pay out for the minor damages that occurred on her car. The second issue that occurred was that the damages were small scratches on the bumper of the car which the insurance company stated are very common on everyday use of personal vehicles. If insurance companies had to pay out every client without any proof of the damages then they would not be in business which is why they have a picture of the unit being transported upon pick up and drop off to cross reference any damage that may have occurred during transport. Keva, we are very sorry about this situation as we spoke about and we did everything in our power to assist you including a refund of the broker fee from us even after the paperwork on delivery which clearly states that your car was delivered with no damages was signed when you received the car and paid the driver for the transport. Thank you very much!
