I submitted my information on movemycar.com and received responses from 10 vendors. The next few hours (and days) were filled with calls, emails, and texts from these ten companies. A few provided questionably low prices, and a couple were unexpectedly high. Yellowfin fell among the most inexpensive of the reasonable group. Some companies pestered me much more than I was happy with (e.g. daily calls, poorly formatted emails, sloppy texts), but Yellowfin was professional and reached out relatively infrequently (and mostly through email, not calls). I searched for each company on BBB.com; Yellowfin and two others were the only accredited businesses, and also one of only four with an A-/A. I decided to go with Yellowfin, due to their reasonable communications, competitive price and good reviews. Maya was incredibly helpful and honest when it came to pickup window, delivery estimate, and costs (with no deposit). She scheduled Zviad to pickup my treasured Camaro. He was a professional, punctual, communicative, honest, nice guy. I took a video walking around my car before he picked it up, but upon meeting him, I felt no need to worry about it in his hands. Payment via Zelle/Venmo upon delivery was secure and convenient, especially because I needed a friend at the destination to receive my car. I've already referred two friends to Yellowfin for the cross-country vehicle shipments and will use them again next time I move.
