I cannot offer high enough praise for Craig and eShip.

Backstory is we had a reservation with Ship-a-Car-Direct to move our minivan from Florida to Minnesota. Our requested pick-up date was a Monday. 10 days prior I received a call to confirm dates and ask if we could be flexible on p.u. dates and I agreed that any time Sunday to Tuesday would be fine. I was told they would be in touch the following week with details of the date and driver. The following week a generic email stated our p.u. window was approaching and to keep an eye out for our dispatch info. Suddenly on Saturday, I realized I hadn't heard anything and they were supposed to p.u. as early as the next day! I left 2 somewhat frantic messages at the number provided and spoke to a customer service agent who said he was escalating my issue. My husband finally made contact and was told they would have our driver set up by 5am Monday (the day of scheduled pick up). We never heard from them. By midmorning Tuesday I. Was. Done. I went online and found eShip.

I reached Craig at eShip at 10am on Tuesday, explained the situation and asked if there was any way he could possibly ship my van before I got on a plane the next day. Craig took ownership of my situation immediately. He said he was on the other line with a client but if I could hold he would be right back and give me his full attention. He came back and did just that. He explained how the business worked and what he would do to try to help. He said it may be quite a bit more expensive than my original quote because of the last minute call, and even so his quote was only $200 higher. He asked my permission to go to work for me. In LESS THAN AN HOUR, he called me back asking if they could pick up my van that same afternoon! When I called back later with a question he answered the phone greeting me by name, answered my question, and gave me the name of the company that would be hauling my van. Within a couple hours I received a call from the driver, Emersin, of Happy Auto Transport.

At this time I called the original company and said that I would no longer be needing their services as I had someone else booked to haul the van. He said ok and asked if they were able to find a driver for me because he couldn't find anyone. No apology whatsoever, and the day AFTER our scheduled p.u. they STILL didn't have a hauler nor did they bother to contact us and tell us!!

By 4pm Tuesday, just 6 hrs after my frantic call to Craig, my van was being loaded onto the trailer. Emersin was polite and thorough. I was told the van would be delivered to me in Minnesota on Friday. Thursday night I spoke to Emersin and was given a delivery time. As it approached he called to say he would be 30 min later than expected and he arrived as stated. The van was in the exact condition as I had last seen it and not one mile more on the odometer. eShip called to see if everything went smoothly and to thank me for my business.

I was trying to pack and move half-way across the country with two small children and my husband already gone ahead. Needless to say, I had my hands full and my head spinning. When the first company failed me miserably, I was panicked. I am so grateful to have found eShip online and to have reached Craig, who not only took care of me promptly and professionally, but went above and beyond. I fully recommend eShip and would not hesitate to use their services again.
