Absolutely Astounding Service!

I found out about 1st Call Auto Haul on this website. I had used internet search engines to find reviews and had even considered going with the shipping company I previously had deliver a car I bought also in VA to FL but they have since gone out of business. When I came to this site, I was overwhelmed by all of the shipping companies to choose from. So I started reading reviews. It seemed there were always a number of great reviews, then 4 or 5 warning others to stay away. I figured that would be the case with any company. Not everyone will have a positive experience, but with the majority of shippers having great reviews with a few really bad reviews mixed in I was not really sure if I should be so careful and just choose one that had the lesser odds of damaging my car or getting it to me really late. Well, I came across 1st Call and to my surprise all the reviews were excellent. Sure, they didn't have the number of reviews as some larger companies but I felt from those they did have my car would be in good hands. So I went with them and the 1st Call was the best call. I sent them my info through their website, and that same night Eric called me from NY. It was around 11pm and I was ecstatic for receiving such a swift response. That never seems to happen with e-mail. He gave me lots of good info and set a pickup date for the next morning. This was too good to be true. Obviously I was a little nervous being it was coming along so quickly, but I had faith thanks to this website. I was called the next day before pickup and I let the seller know the transport was coming. He rushed to get everything done with the car he had planned to; not even having the time to wash it. They picked it up on a flatbed to bring it to the transport truck. The seller, who is a friend, told me the guy was nice and clean. The car was then on its way. The truck made it within a couple states from me when he called later that day saying he would be getting some rest and would resume in the morning. I was totally okay with that so the next day by mid morning I received a call and the gentleman told me he would be arriving shortly and we discussed where he would park. I was working at Napa at the time and across the street was a large parking area behind a bank so that would be the perfect spot. He arrived within a couple hours and I had co-workers telling me it was there from inside behind the sales counter. It was awesome! I went out, looked over the car. He told me the seller was in a hurry to get back to work so they didn't go over the car and write down any problem areas so if anything was amiss when it came to me I could look and see it as being written down. So I had to look much more carefully over the car; that was the only 'snag' in my whole dealing with 1st Call, but not actually their problem. The car checked out great, so I entered my bank only feet away to withdraw the money for payment. After paying, I shook the drivers hand and thanked him for the safe delivery of my vehicle. I should note that Eric told me usually the whole process doesn't go that quickly especially to FL, he said drivers don't go out this way as much unless they are going towards south FL or along the coast. I happened to catch them when another vehicle was being delivered to AL and also amazingly to the town next to me. So, I did get lucky in that respect, but I really do feel 1st Call Auto Haul is a top notch auto transport company. Thanks Eric!
