Chose 1st Call Auto Haul after seeing positive reviews and it turned out to be a pleasant experience.
Eric was always reachable, helpful and polite. Price was very reasonable (a little below average among the quotes I made.)
The carrier Eric chose was very reliable. Called 24 hours before pick up and delivery. They were supposed to come on a Friday (the first day my vehicle became available), but didn't make it due to some mechanical or electrical problem. But they resolved it very fast and picked up on Saturday evening even when it was raining. Although they are technically "late", I am still satisfied -- problems are unavoidable, but the way they handled things showed true professionalism.
The delivery happened 4 days late. Wow! It's from Chicago to San Jose! The driver was very nice. The car had been handled with care and no damage at all. As a comparison, it took 15 days for my household items to arrive (with another mover of course).
