I first heard about A AAAdvantage through another website (www.autotransportwatch.com). This company was rated as one of the hightest. Well don't be fooled because all of the top 5 companies on that website are either poorly rated or not even registered with the Better Business Bureau.

Which ever company you choose, whether it is from this website or another...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE check it out first in the better business bureau website (www.bbb.org). It only takes a few minutes and it can save you hundreds or thousands of dollars. Here is what the Better Business Bureau had to say about A AAAdvantage Transport:

"Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to unanswered and unresolved complaints. The company has responded to some complaints, however, it has failed to correct the underlying reason for the complaints. Complaints generally concern delays in delivery, damage to vehicles and customer service issues."

So let me tell you more about my experiences. When I called A AAAdvantage to book an order, they were amazing...courteous and prompt...all that good stuff. They promised me on the phone that from the time that my booking was made, it would take them 1 week to find an open carrier and then within 2-3 days after that they would call me to schedule a time for pick-up. In fact the agent went as far as to say that there was a good chance that my car might even get picked up within the next 5 days. Well one week passed by, then two weeks passed by...no phone call. Plus when I called to find out what was going to my car, I was no longer connected to the prompt and courteous sales agent. Instead I had to wait for 20-45 minutes to speak to the not so courteous customer service rep. And while I was waiting a recorded message would be playing talking about how great their customer service is. When you do finally get through to someone, they tell you the same thing day after day...that they are "TRYING" to find a carrier and "there is nothing more" that they can tell you at this time. To this date it has now been 3 weeks and my car is still sitting in my driveway waiting to be transported. The sales agent made no mention of it being a busy season...all she wanted was her commission.

Now, if you call them and ask them about all this crap (and I urge you to try it just to see how superficial these guys are) I can almost hear what they would say: "If the wait was long then that person must have called during our busiest hours. Another way to contact us is by email and someone will respond to you shortly. Or you could try our online chat where you can have any question anwswered directly by one of our customer service agents." ITS ALL A BUNCH OF CRAP...TRUST ME! First of all their lines are always busy and you will never wait less than 20 minutes. They must never check their emails because I have not received responses to most of my emails (excpet the ones where I said I wanted my money back). And their online chat has NEVER worked.

Anyways, after 2 weeks of waiting, my car wasn't even scheduled to be picked up because they were "so busy." My point is that they should have at least told me when the next available date was. At this point I decided to cancel. So I wrote to them to cancel....we wouldn't you know it....I received an email the next day saying that my car has now been scheduled to be picked up!!! JUST THE PREVIOUS DAY....they said that they were SO busy that they couldn't tell me anything...NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN when I want my money back they find a truck. I decided to stick with my decision to cancel after reading the Better Business Bureaus website.

I AM TELLING YOU....DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR KINDNESS...THESE PEOPLE ALL JUST OUT FOR YOUR MONEY! YOU MUST BE SOMEONE WHO, LIKE ME, DOES NOT HAVE MONEY GROWING IN YOUR BACKYARD (otherwise you wouldn't bother with all this). SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET CHEATED, BEFORE CHOOSING A COMPANY TO SHIP YOUR CAR..... DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to find a good company, then cross check EACH AND EVERY company that you are considering with the better business bureau website ratings and then move forward. I made the mistake of going through these people and will probably end up losing my money.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me. I just don't want anyone else to go through all this.

Unfortunately, we were unable to transport Mr. Khandavallis’ vehicle in a timely manner. We were commissioned on June 4, 2004 to ship the vehicle and the vehicle was first made available to us on June 4, 2004. Mr. Khandavalli canceled his order with us on June 23, 2004 and we issued a credit in full on June 25, 2004.
