Ok, to start off, this company had some good reviews on some other web sites, so I figured I would give them a chance.

Got a quote to move my Mustang from NC to CA, cost was said to be $870 in the first quote, but when I went to book it a week later, it was $970. Ok ok, gas prices go up, etc. That was just the start.

Booked my car for transport 2-3 weeks before the date I wanted it picked up. Talked to the sales person and said their would be a 2-3 day window MAX! So the pickup date, came and went....and went...and went.

7 Days after my car was supposed to be picked up, still no call on when it was going to be picked up. 45 min on hold trying to get in touch with Customer Service only got me an answer of we are TRYING to get a car out to you. Hrmm, 25 trucks they say and not one has gone up or down the East Coast. Yeah right.

Started to make waves and complain up the tree. Talked back to my sales guy, the manager, etc. The only solution they gave me was to pay an EXTRA $300 to get Guaranteed Devliery.

Now I am sure you all are aware of a Bait and Switch scam. And this is exactly how is starts. They give you a good price on moving you car, delay you for ever and make you pay more to finally get the job done.

Now I have wasted 3 weeks of my time, renting a car in my new place...and you know AAAAdvantage did not care. They are not in the customer service business, they are in the steal you money business.

I am in the process of getting a refund. The sales person told me I would get a refund of my whole deposit since they never provided service by scheduling a pickup date. That was 2-3 days ago I asked for the cancelation. I made sure to send my emails with Auto Read Receipts which when a user opens the email an email is sent back to me saying the message was read.

All 3 message have been read, and only one person replied. But still no word on a final cancelation.

Lucky I used a good credit card for this, and will get my deposit back one way or another.

In short....AVIOD THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS! They only want your money, not to help you out at all!

Best of luck!

We were commissioned on May 17, 2004 to ship Mr. Thornbergs’ vehicle. The vehicle was first available to us on June 1, 2004. Mr. Thornberg cancelled his order with us on June 9, 2004. We issued a credit on June 17, 2004, we did withhold $100.00 cancellation fee. We feel Mr. Thornberg did not give us adequate time to transport the vehicle as it was the height of moving season as was told to him by his sales representative.
