Mr. Coslik’s claims are false. His vehicle was not picked up 3 weeks late, we did not promise him a delivery date and his messages to us did not go unanswered for weeks. As soon as we were aware of a delay we kept in touch with him and the carrier until his vehicle was delivered. He did not report any vehicle scratches to us or his carrier after delivery. He made his vehicle available for pickup starting 2/27/07 through 3/8/07. This was his pickup window. No delivery date was promised or mentioned by us. Estimated delivery is provided by the carrier company after the shipment is assigned. We dispatched it on 2/27 to the carrier company who provided estimated pickup of 2/28 – 3/1/07 and estimated delivery of 3/5 – 3/6/07. His carrier company experienced a breakdown and our records show the vehicle was picked up on 3/7. This is a delay of 6 days, not over a month as he states. Our records show it was delivered 3/14/07, which is a delay of 8 days past the carrier company’s estimated delivery timeframe of 3/5-6. Had his vehicle been dispatched for pickup on the last day of his window (3/8/07, which he agreed to) his vehicle would have been delivered at approximately the same time as actually delivered – 3/13-14/07. He has exaggerated the delay and made statements that are not true. At no time did he report scratch damage to us or his carrier company, which would have been taken care of if the vehicle condition report showed that scratches occurred during transit. While his shipment did experience a delay, it was nothing like what he is saying here, his delivery was not out of the timeframe of his pickup window and we did take responsibility for monitoring the delay by the contract carrier.
