AAA took my $175 deposit and then contracted with A1 autotransport to have the car shipped from Missouri to California. When A1 continuously screwed up, I made numerous calls to AAA in an attempt to get help. I was repeatedly told they were not responsible for A1's delays but that they would see if there was anything they could do to help. No one ever followed up on this by calling me back to let me know what was going on. Instead I had to repeatedly call them to find out that they claimed there was nothing they could do to help and that they had tried but could not find another company with a driver who could pick up the car within the next 4-5 days. Finally, after more than 2 weeks of having no one pick up the car (and forseeing no end to this ridiculous situation), I had to find another company myself. I then called AAA back to ask for my deposit back but they claimed that they had done their job (??????? i have yet to see any evidence of work that they did ~ they claimed they couldn't find another driver yet i was able to find one myself). I will never ever ever ever ever ever work with this company again and urge you to save yourself a lot of time and frustration and find a more dependable and responsible company.
