So this is a smaller company who transported my brand new buick enclave a 60K car 3000 miles across the country. The car was damaged in two spots on an open trailer. The company was prompt on delivery/pickup but the damages are something everyone should be aware of when shipping on an open trailer. Neither did the broker or transporter tell me this would/could happen they said it should be safe. I inspected the car for over 30 minutes and found deep scratches and a chip on the door. Carrier was screaming at me that he couldn't of done this but I had tons of photos I took before the car left. Carrier after an hr of arguing finally agreed to pay me 200 back in cash for the 1200+ dollars in damage he did. I should've sued him or collected on his insurance company but he refused to sign damages to the bill of lading condition report. Also I took pictures of the odometer and he drove the car 5 miles. He picked it up on a flat bed so I'm still trying to determine how the hell he needed to drive it that far when he drove the flat bed to his carrier location. Sketchy people be careful.
