My car needed to be moved from NH to NY. AC Auto Movers responded with the best quote. I was quoted $325. When I called to setup the pickup, they said the rate I was quoted had expired and the "new rate" would be $375. I said this was not going to work, and the person I spoke to (Dan) immediately lowered the price to $350 at which point we signed a CONTRACT.

The pickup was scheduled for the morning of July 16th. Current owner of the vehicle had to stay at home to help out with the pick up. However. They didn't call or return my calls until late in the afternoon (approximately 1:30 pm). When they finally did call, the person on the other end of the phone said that the DRIVER WOULD LIKE TO RAISE THE PRICE BY A FEW DOLLARS, namely $50.

I said that this was a breach of contract and demanded for the contract to be annulled and a corresponding confirmation be sent to me via email. needless to say that Dan was "in the meeting" all day and never spoke to me personally ever again. Nor did I get the cancellation of contract email.

Outrageous. Stay away from these crooks! And don't give them your credit card information.
