DO NOT HIRE ANYONE THROUGH ABLE AUTO

I had spoken with Able Auto and they found a driver to take my care from MO. to CT. The driver was the owner of his own company called, NORTHWEST AUTO.

He picked my car up and had me sign a paper. I asked if it had everything on there that needed to be on there and he said yes. Little did i know that if a driver purposefully leaves the mileage BLANK, that he can and probably will take your car for a little ride. My car happened to be a car that might be great for a little cruising around with the top down. Maybe even a few hour trip to Cape Cod for the weekend.

After failing to call the number i gave him to arrange for the drop off, I finally tracked him down and got a random and vague story and then he said the person who I set up to meet him for the drop-off was not there. He was supposed to arrive on Friday morning. He called that person after 5pm, when she had left work. Very convenient. Now he has his weekend to play.

I then found out he was on Cape Cod over that weekend. I was told I was the last drop-off, so the fact that he was on the cape was a little questionable. When we made another drop-off time for sunday morning (which I had to arrange with another party), he never showed up. at 9pm sunday night, i finally tracked him down and he said he would not be there because "well, i don't know, people haven't been where they were supposed to be and i just couldn't make it there by today".
So, now Monday. He arrives at the drop-off location where the car was inspected and found to have DAMAGE on the front underside of the car and SEVERAL HUNDRED EXTRA MILES PUT ON THE CAR. I shouldn't fail to mention that the driver was touring the U.S. with his son and made a little sarcastic comment to my husband that "[he] always makes time to have a little fun on these trips."

we are in the process of proving that the little excursion to the cape was mostly likely made with my car. sure, why not? he never recorded the actual starting miles on the contract. but...my husband and i did and it was documented on the fax to the party receiving the car in CT.

PLEASE BE SURE NOT TO WORK WITH NORTHWEST AUTO OR ABLE AUTO. NORTHWEST IS COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND POSSIBLY CROOKS AND ABLE AUTO NEVER TOOK ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR EVEN CONCERN FOR THE EVENTS. THEY SIMPLY DEMANDED PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF DROP-OFF AND THREATENED TO BRING US TO COURT IF WE DIDN'T PAY.

HONEST PEOPLE GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THESE PEOPLE EVERY DAY. IT HAS TO STOP!
