Everything went pretty smoothly. Pickup was two days after first available date. It changed as the driver "got tied" up on the way to pickup in MA and changed again for delivery as he got stuck in I95 traffic on the way south. No big deal for me as it was all within the timelines expected.
I wasn't there when the car was picked up but my brother was. He called me to let me know that when the driver was putting my 2007 MINI Cooper S up on the ramps he was slipping the clutch like mad and smoke was pouring out from under the hood. He couldn't get it up the ramps so asked my brother to do it. I don't think either of them was aware that in sports cars with DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) you simply have to push a button to turn it off and the car will fly up any incline. Anyway, when the driver dropped it off to me he asked me to go up on the top ramp and back the car off. This surprised me but everything went fine. The driver was very nice and called each time he was behind schedule or wanted to change the pickup or drop off date/time.
I'm sad to say that my cars clutch is now toast and every time I drive it now it reeks of burnt clutch and slips. It's going to cost me about $1,400- to have it fixed due to the transporter not knowing how to drive it up the loading ramps.

Steve, we are very sorry to hear about the situation with the clutch. We do have a certificate of insurance on file and will be happy to give you this information so a claim can be filed. We will help you any way we can with this process. We appreciate that you understand that pickup and delivery dates are estimated and sometimes the driver can get put behind schedule due to traffic, weather, other customers, etc. ***This customer was NOT compensated for their review***
