I picked All Pro because they did not see any negative reviews. Oh Boy, what a mistake! The three men that came out were nice enough, even if they did look like crankers.
Every once in a while I would check the truck to see if they were packing it properly; and I kept getting reassured that “we are professional movers; we know what we are doing.” I could not see anything out of the ordinary, so I left them alone. What a mistake.
Numerous items were marked & scuffed up. Most of the stuff that was in the brand new heavy duty boxes was crushed. I had boxes marked TOP BOX ONLY – FRAGILE, were placed in the middle of boxes or worse on the bottom of a bunch of heavy boxes.
They had turned my expense dining room marble and wood side board upside down and packed it with heavy boxes. When it was unloaded, the two interior shelves had completely collapsed because they were not meant to hold so much weight upside down. It was so heavy that the weight had pulled all of the nails out and the unit had ripped away where it was glued. At this time the heavy boxes were now sitting on the bottom of the unit. If they had left it upright, it would have been able to withstand the weight of the boxes because it would be pushing on the nails; not pulling on the nails & glue.
I swore after this fiasco, I would sell or give my belongings away to charity before I would pay out $15,000.00 to have 80% of my new furniture ruined.
