Paola made arrangements with AmPm Auto Transport to ship her vehicle from CA to FL. We picked her vehicle up on Monday, 01/09/2012 in CA with an estimated delivery in FL after 5 to 7 calendar days. Sometimes the truck might get there in 5 days sometimes it might take up to 6 or 7 days. This has been our exact conversation with our customer, Paola. On Friday, 01/13/2011 we received a call from Paola asking when her vehicle is being delivered. We politely responded, it is estimated to be delivered on Monday the 16th. She said no they said it was going to be delivered exactly on Friday the 13th. She seemed surprised as to why the vehicle is not being delivered on Friday, 01/13/2012. We explained her that in the logistics business, neither the carrier nor would the company give her an exact date of delivery. I also mentioned to her that I would speak directly to the driver in charge of the truck carrying her vehicle, to see if there was any possibility of an earlier than expected delivery. After speaking to the driver Paola was notified that there was a chance that the truck would get to FL over the weekend and an exception would be made to deliver her car over the weekend. AmPm Auto Transport also provided her with the driver’s phone number as a courtesy so that she may be in direct contact with him since our offices would be closed over the weekend. We, at AmPm Auto Transport treat each and every one of our customers with respect and care. We make a good faith effort to meet our customer’s schedules.
