I have never shipped a vehicle before, but AmeriFreight made it really simple. I submited but a quote on monday 6/16/08, needed the car picked up on 6/19/08 and got a quote within 2 hours. I checked on this website first to make sure i pick a company with an excellent rating since i was purchasing a vehicle from an second party and did not want any complications. Turns AmeriFreight quote me $5 more then the cheapest rate i was quoted by shipping companies with horrible ratings on here. So obviously once i got the quote i placed my order rigth away. I did not opted for the "priority" upgrade ($125?) that guaranteed 1-2 pickup after 1st available date. I chose the "standard" 1-7 days pickup after 1st available date. Luckily, Chantel called me on my desired pick up date (seller of the vehicle had the day off that day) to inform me a truck will be pick up in the evening that day, AWESOME! Driver picked up the truck as promised. After which Chantel called me informing me it will around Tuesday next week for the drop off day. The driver Jimmy, from Jimmy's Superior Hauling in AZ, called me Tuesday to inform me he will be in the area the next day (Wed) in the after noon. He stayed in touch with me giving me approximate 1 hour time range (2-3pm) then calling me to give me 30 mins head's up. He delivered right at 2:30pm. I couldn't be happier with the service i got with AmeriFreight!
