Disgusted!

I was called and given a decent quote for a carrier. I was told that they had a truck to pick up my vehicle in the area and could have it loaded that evening or by the next day. I agreed and dropped the carrier I already had booked due to the promised speedy p/u. The scheduled p/u turned into 6 days later. I had no idea except when I called to see how delivery was going, they informed me car wasn't even scheduled to p/u until three day after it was promised. It took three days to pick it up after the second promise of p/u. The delivery too was a nightmare. I was never contacted by the company except to tell me that the car was to be delivered on a certain day and it was delivered a day late with no phone calls from the dispatchers. Anytime I would call, they were confrontational and refused to take responsibility on promises of p/u or delivery. My car arrived 5 days later than scheduled on the back of something equivalent to a Ford F-350. This was certainly to much to pay for this kind of transportation. I was also told they own their own trucks as if it they owned tractor trailers. I work in the transportation line of business and worked my way up from a dispatcher to a manager and I NEVER have seen a company so unorganized and unhelpful in my 12 years of business. It was a nightmare and I am disgusted by a person who uses promises something that they cannot do and by a company who would stand by them. Carriers will tell you that pu and delivery are estimated but there has to be a range and a trust between a carrier and the customer. The contract itself doesn't even use the proper form of English and spelling. I wouldn't send a Uhaul in to p/u Wal-Marts freight and I can't believe I was charged that much for a Uhaul type trailer. I could have done it myself and for less money. I will never use or recommend this company again.
