After reading a lot of horror stories on this website, I was hesitant to ship my car cross country. But I had an excellent experience with America's Choice Auto Movers. They were extremely responsive, had timely pick-up, timely delivery and no damage to the car. In fact they got it out to California much more quickly than I anticipated. I must say I do not have any major complaints and I would highly recommend this company to anybody. Their rate was also very competitive (not the lowest, but good nonetheless).
For those of you shipping vehicles you should be aware that door-to-door is not exactly as it sounds. These transport trucks are gigantic (80 ft) and there aren't that many places (particularly in a big city) that they can get to. You will likely need to go to a major shopping mall to meet the driver for both pickup and delivery.
