Understand, the pickup & delivery/drop locations are not my property. Both properties were leased locations for parking. Also understand, they were picking up a classic muscle car - pro street (it's a street legal race car & EXTREMELY LOUD)... keep this in mind when observing the time of pickup & delivery in residential neighborhoods. They knew before arriving what the car was as they requested a picture of the vehicle. It was sent to dispatch days before the appointment. Initially, I told dispatch early afternoon for pickup, 1-3pm. The driver didn't show up until 7:40pm or so. I was highly annoyed but I understand that things happen in NYC traffic. Had to take off 1 star because of how late he was; I understand traffic may be a factor, but to arrive over 4 hours later than agreed is highly unprofessional. I'm a tractor trailer driver & if I did this, I'd eventually put my company out of business. Overlooking this, I appreciated that the driver was was safety conscious and took his time to load & secure the vehicle properly. Without safety consciousness, this business wouldn't exist. As a truck driver, this was excellent to see. Now, because the driver was so late, the driver arrived at the final destination well past 10pm. Remember I said it was a classic muscle car? Pro street? WE WOKE UP THE ENTIRE QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE SUBURBS WHILE TURNING ON THIS MONSTER OF A CAR. I'm sure you can imagine just how much the neighbors didn't appreciate this on a Saturday night, but the actual property owner in leasing the property from as well. I had to apologize sincerely for this embarrassment to her in front of her neighbors after the dinner left. Another star deducted. You can now understand why this is a mixed review for the amount of money charged - to be late, embarrassed & entire evening wasted waiting for this to happen. I'm sure you can understand when I say that I'm not sure I'll be using this company again to move the rest of the collection I have but am glad the car arrived safely. The driver did a great job securing but the planning needs serious work. Not good at all. Choose wisely if you're going to use this service.
