Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Though I am sorry to hear that you felt that you experience was unsatisfactory, I would like to remind you that the total cost of the move was less than the originally quoted price. At your request, we lowered the price $50 with the understanding that it may take a few more days to find a carrier. While making calls to carriers to confirm pickup, a carrier called us offering to move your vehicle and requested $50 more to do so (the price of the original quote). We always strive to maintain open lines of communication between our agents, customers, and carriers. For this reason, any and every option is brought to our customers attention. Failure to have called you with this option would have been both unprofessional and negligent.
When a second carrier called asking for $25 more, we took money out of our own pockets to have the vehicle moved quickly. The vehicle was delivered in excellent condition in only 6 days on a route that normally takes 7-10 days. At no point did we require you to pay more money and, in fact, did just the opposite. We helped you save money and have the vehicle delivered faster than normal. AutoStar did not, does not, and will never underbid any transport. Thank you again for choosing AutoStar.
