I was subcontracted to Autoloaders in August of 2004.
My employer agreed to subcontract his truck to Autoloaders for a couple trips moving POV's during the summer new car slump. I have over 15 years car ahuling experience and have served employers as trainer and dispatcher.
Without a written contract my employer and Autoloaders constantly changed the route, units, destination of these cars. I was ciught in the middle of trying to keep both parties satisfied. At one point I was instructed to stop deliveries and put the remaining cars on the load in storage. I refused and delivered cars to the owners. They had no idea of the conflict whatsoever.
I surrendered the signed Bills of Lading and all checks and cash to Autoloaders as normally procedure demands. I FedEx'd from Seattle, hand delivered in Dallas and FedEx'd from Miami. Mark (Autoloaders) has refused to pay my employer for use of truck as of this date.... 21 days after all bills were surrendered. Mark refuses to pay which in turn puts extreme financial strain on my employer. Ooooo did I say former employer..... he did not pay me last payday. I returned truck to him and am now unemployed. Both parties are swindlers, I have filed a claim for my wages in both Florida and Texas. I would not recommend using either party. AutoLoaders or Exotic Transport.
