I was promised a 3 days shipping call for a car I needed shipped to me, after 7 days of no phone calls and no emails and absolutely no response to any of my messages, I decided to give up and threatened to call the police. Their response was this portion of the contract:
We are sorry that we couldn't move your vehicle for you! Please read below line 14 which is on the order form that you signed. We will gladly issue you a credit on your next shipment. Thank you for your interest in shipping with us and have a great day!
14. If you place an order with Best Direct Shipping, you have the option to cancel any time. Shipping level posting time frames are estimated and vary route from route. (Our services that we offer are Standard Shipping, Expedited Shipping, Enclosed Shipping and our Best Flex Rate Shipping Quote with no exact time frame for the more flexible shipper that has time frame flexibility). These are all estimated time frames that may vary depending on the route and availability of drivers. Not all routes are guaranteed for our shipping levels of (Standard, Expedited, Enclosed and Best Flex Rate Shipping quotes. If an order is cancelled before or during the stated times (Standard 7 business days, Expedited 3 business days, Enclosed 3 business days and Best Flex Rate no time frame) there is an early termination fee of the administrative fee/service fee paid to Best Direct Shipping. In the event the estimated time frame for shipping your vehicle has elapsed, the administrative fee/carrier fee/service fee is non-refundable. The fee's that are paid on Best Flex Rate, Standard, Expedited and Enclosed shipping posting levels is a non-refundable administrative fee/carrier fee/service fee for the full amount paid to Best Direct Shipping. If one of our Carriers/Drivers is assigned or dispatched, for all shipping levels, to your order before the order is canceled, for any reason, a \$150 additional fee must be paid to Best Direct Shipping for our Carriers/Drivers for gas, logistics and lost fees. All cancellations must be written and mailed to Best Direct Shipping Best Direct Shipping 2005 Merrick Road (Ste 267) Merrick, NY 11566.

If read carefully, it states that if you cancel, the payment is non refundable, if we cant find a shipper for you you r payment is non refundable,
WHAT???? So basically they are not obligated to do anything to keep your money.
I had to file a police report and notify my bank of a fraudulent check charge, resulting in having to close and reopen another account.
Best Direct Shipping is a Scam Company.
