I called Best Way on thursday and they had my car picked up on the very next day, friday. I thought i had found an accomodating transport company! They said it would cost me $200 deposit and $930 COD. VERBAL agreement, no email had been sent to me and nothing to sign. They said it would take 7-10 days. I called on day 8 to locate my car. It's on the carrier is all they told me. I called on the 10th day, "car is still on carrier in route, should be there 10 to 14 days, not 7-10." I call on the 14th day...still no car. They tell me it will arrive the 15th day, friday, and the COD is $985. $55 more, but they were already getting a $1130 total. Wouldn't you think that if the customer is disatisfied with service on the time allowed that the car was supposed to arrive that the $55 would be taken care of by the company? Well they did and I talked to the one guy, the same guy, TWICE at Best Way and confirmed that the COD would be $930. I was pleased, and I wasn't asking for much, right? Well, the car carrier company had called me to confirm that the COD was $985. ????huh? I told the transport company that the COD was wrong and that a new COD quote should have been faxed to them (COD $930). So Vinnie decides to call me and tell me that the COD was $985 and I should have read that in the email agreement that extra cost would ensue due to gas prices, etc...blah, blah blah. Funny, I had recieved the email only a day before the car arrived in CA. He fires more bull____ my way, tells me that no one waived the $55 and everyone at his company had denied that they even spoke with me about the COD. I had enough at this point and caved. He spoke to me like I needed to be taught on business ethics. I told him, keep it to himself and I want my car that was way late, I'll pay the extra money and I want nothing to do with the rest of the conversation...that was it. I was more angry at the principle, indirectly being called a liar about talking with a customer service rep. Plus on delivery...they had circled areas of the car on the paper where there were scratches before the car was picked up. I looked at the areas and the scratches had not been there when I left Delaware. Plus the car is white and was extremely dirty so you can pretty much tell when someones fingers wipe off areas of the car because the area ia extemely WHITE. It looks as if they quickly circled the areas on the paper of the scratches that they had just made and construde them as prior to pick-up. Plus the guy who delivered the car had trouble understanding English. Figures...now it's really their word against mine. Typical!!!

Vinnie is a world-class liar. I caught him in so many lies it was ridiculous. I had the worst experience and I agree that they need to be shut down. I of course got my car back with scratches that weren't there before I left Delaware. I have my car now, but not how I left it and I feel ripped-off. $1185 down the drain and I should have just drove it cross-country myself!!

this customer was charged 55.00 extra due to the increase in diesel fuel prices, the customer was fully aware of this, as per paragraph#7 of the term and conditions.it seems that the customer does not remember that they signed a contract and e-mailed it back, indicating the price.this customer should remember what he did.
