I was quoted originally $750 and called them to make sure the quote was not a mistake and an honest appraisal. After being assured by Andy I happily put a $125 deposit down. After several days I received a call back that the price was going to be $950. I was honest with them that I was on a budget and told them I could not afford to pay more money. They said they could try to call other carriers and keep to the original quote (that I was assured in the beginning would not change).
Fast forward another week. They told me that they had someone that would do it for $1050. I asked them if they even were listening to me when I spoke to them last time that I was sticking to my originally quoted price. Meanwhile the poor guy that I bought the car from was getting tickets as the car was sitting on the side-street with no plates on it. I felt awful as this was related towards my failure to find a honest and no B.S. transport company.
Sparing many other details I finally broke down and told them I could go up to $800 total, meaning $675 + $125 deposit. They said they would make a call and get back to me. Sure enough while I was eating dinner I got a call saying they could do if for $800 total. Next day I got a email document with a $900 total on it (OMG they still didn't listen)! I never signed or faxed back a signed document yet they told the transporter to pick up the car.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE. They lock you in with a low price and will only jack the price up on you. I should book them for theft as they took a vehicle that was not theirs. I would rather push the vehicle than book with them ever again.
