I am a student and I was moving from Fenton, MI to Vista, CA. I found them online, they gave me a great quote, and seemed to be a pretty good company. Ha. After I paid online with my credit card the $845 in full, I didn't hear from them. On the website it says that it usually takes 2-10 business days to assign a carrier or at least for someone to contact you. It had been 20 days and no one ever called. There is a customer service section of the website where you can enter in your order ID number to get the status of your order. They don't want to talk to you... they want you to do everything online. So I did this about 6 or 7 times, and the same e-mail always came back:
"We are working on your order. It has not been assigned to a carrier as of yet. As soon as it does you will be sent an e-mail with your tentative dates. That is the next step. Thanks."
After almost three weeks went by with nothing, I looked around for a different company, I found Angels Moving Autos (note: they are amazing!), and I had to pay a $100 cancellation fee for them doing nothing, so I only got $745 credited back to my Visa account. This place was a joke and if you ever call them the people are mean. I have definitely found out the hard way that when you are shipping your car, this is not the type of thing to try to save a ton of money. Go with a better company, even if it means paying an extra couple hundred bucks. It's not worth it to sit around and wait, or for your car to be damaged. Don't go with Car on a Truck... they are horrible.
