Shipping experience

Overall I had a very good experience with this company. My car was picked up in the time frame I wanted and arrived at its destination early. There was an early miscommunication within the shipping company, but the customer service rep I worked with - Debbie - was able to recover from the error and get my car shipped still within my time frame (my time frame, though was a bit more relaxed). She was also was able to accommodate the narrow pick up window that I had available, so I really appreciated that.

The carrier was right on time, which I thought was fairly impressive given the other pick-ups he was coordinating, and very courteous.

My only complaint is that I ended up paying more for the carrier then I was originally quoted. From the way things were quoted to me, I thought the price quoted would be the price that I pay. The fine print notes a difference in actual price v. quote is possible because carriers basically bid on the jobs, so there really isn't a fixed price or a price guarantee. So, maybe I should've read things more carefully before engaging the company. But I think most customers would appreciate this being drawn to their attention up front - that way, no surprises, no complaints.
