Before we placed the order, Malia was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the questions we had. Since we had not contracted this type of business before, we didn't completely understand how the vehicle shipping industry worked. Providing two different payments (one for land, and one for sea) was foreign to us. Then there was the mere posting of the order on a pickup board, to which no independent driver would take for three weeks and at an increased price from the original quote. When we tried to track the vehicle (on land), we had to get in contact with the actual independent carrier ourselves, then inform Cascade of its status and the actual circumstances. After the key to the vehicle was located, the sea transportation and timetable was timely and accurate. If we have to use the service again, we would (with a better knowledge of the process).
