The carrier they hired was not trustworthy

This was the 3rd car transport company that we signed on with, because the 1st failed to communicate and did not get the car picked on the days that were scheduled or even 7 days later. The 2nd company had such bad reviews that we cancelled. We called Cascade on a Monday and were told that the car would be picked up that week. They were supposed to pick up on Thurs or Sat because that was when we could have someone there to release the vehicle. The contact was called on Wed night that the carrier was there to pick up the car, with no calls whatsoever from Cascade about the change in date. At least the car got picked up at this point which is better than the 1st company could do.
We were called by the carrier that the car would be delivered on Thurs the following week, then he told us Fri morning and then called back again and said Thurs evening. We had to meet at a location that was agreed upon, but still had to wait for 1 1/2 hrs for the car to be delivered and of course it was late and dark outside, so hard to do a thorough check of the car.
It felt like someone had been driving the car for more than just taking it on & off the trailer. The passenger seat was adjusted different, there was food in the passenger seat which was not something that we have had in the car. When I checked the mileage against the title which was signed the day I left (the car had been parked in the garage since then), there were 350-400 miles that had been put on the car in 8 days of transport. It makes me very uncomfortable that someone who I don't know and did not give any authorization to, had been driving and putting that many miles on my car. No matter what, do not use US Camels Transportation, they have not returned my calls inquiring about this matter.
The customer service at Cascade was initially great, but the communication broke down when the car was getting picked up and we hadn't heard much about when it was getting delivered. More than their customer service, they need to hire trustworthy carriers. Truly, I don't think I would ever go through the hassle of having a car shipped again, would drive next time.
