Before the pickup was arranged, Lowell had several conversations with other companies, then fortunately he connected w/Jeff (we think) at Cascade Vehicle Shipping explaining the situation & difficulties that had been described making a pick-up & delivery of the minivan sound difficult, if not impossible, as well as very expensive. Jeff's efforts & contacts proved all those concerns to be wrong. He arranged for the job to be done by a reliable driver & at a reasonable cost.
The driver who delivered the minivan to Portland from Idaho likely had to deal with a difficult situation in Idaho to obtain the car. The lot owner there (Paul/Woody's Market) was not always easy to work with, so the driver might have had to be diplomatic & listen to his tirades, as well as take extra effort to even be able to load the minivan onto the trailer. It's a long trip (?almost 800 miles) from Woody's Market to the Pullen's in Portland & the driver made very good time getting here. Once here, extra effort was needed to be able to get the car off the trailer & into our driveway. Lowell was appreciative of all of the driver's efforts to deliver that car in as good of time & condition as possible.
We would use their services again, but certainly hope it won't be necessary! Our trip to Yellowstone had been totally wonderful until that moment just as we were leaving, that the elk, jumped & ,BAM, slammed into us. We never did see her again & hope she didn't suffer. We will be glad to tell others about the excellent service we received to get the car back home again.
