Manny quoted me $650 for a move from KY to TX and that it could be picked up and dropped off on certain days.

After speaking with other brokers, I questioned him on the cost and availability of delivery in respect that the others said it couldnt happen and that no truck would pick it up for such a low cost. Manny replied with "I’ve made it SO clear as to no hidden cost “NO HIDDFEN COST” PLEASE , STOP BUSTING MY CHOPS!!!!!! You get the best deal of your life and no phone call as of yet. Being broker or transporter they still must come thru us, we establish the accts. Not the transporters. Anyway, please call and allow us to have that vehicle picked up. Until then my number is.."

I buy into this and call to get the ball rolling. Manny isnt there but speak with Jai. Jai tells me I can cancel all the way up to a truck agreeing to pick it up for the cost I am willing to pay. I put down the $175 deposit and wait by the phone. The truck is needed in KY up till the date and in TX at the date since I am moving there. A week goes by. Nothing. Longer. Nothing. I call dispatch and they say no truck has taken up the offer and that I can cancel up till the points its agreed upon. So there are three people telling me i can get out of it up to a certain point.

I finally decide to cancel the order and fly back to KY and drive it down myself to avoid the stress of the situation. I speak with Rob (manager I'm told). He says he will cancel my order and refund my $ in 3 business days. It's been over 3 weeks and since my conversation with Rob on cancelling, they refuse to answer the phone or e-mails.

The day after I cancel I get a call from dispatch saying they have a truck that will deliver it at a cost a "little" higher than I agreed upon... 146% of initial quote. $950 compared to $650. The $950 was in line with most of the quotes I got from the other brokers.

I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and they didnt even respond to them.

My advice on this is simple... "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". Base this off of the competitions quotes.

Gives the business a terrible reputation.

PS. Turns out Manny was fired to lying to his clients to get them to sign up.
