Lousy Service from Countrywide

I called Countrywide Transport in February to schedule the transport of our car from Florida to Michigan. Scheduled pick-up was May 8 with the uderstanding that it would be no later than May 8. Countrywide instructed me to call about 4 to 5 days in advance to get an actual pick-up date. We called on the 5, 6, 7 and the 8th. Their answer was always the same, " We cannot tell you anything because we do not have any information". We had flights scheduled for late on May 8th. By 2:00 pm on May 8 the answer from "Al" was , "Someone might pick it up tonight, but we cannot guarantee". Al did give us the option to cancel. In fact he really pushed it. We lost complete confidence in Countrywide, cancelled the order, cancelled our flights and drove the car back to Michigan. the last thing that "Al" said to me was that he had a lot of people who wanted to talk to him and he was done talking to me. Within 20 seconds I received an e-mail from Countrywide who sent our order to accounting for cancellation.

THIS CUSTOMR READ AND AGREED TO OUR TERMS OF SERVICE ONLINE WHICH CALLS FOR A MINIMUM OF A 3 DAYS WINDOW FOR PICK UP.THIS CUSTOMER CALLED AND HARASSED OUR OFFICE STAFF AS WELL AS OUR GENERAL MANGER ON THE DAY SHE WAS GETTING PICKED UP AND CANCELLED ORDER.ALL OUR ROUTES OUT OF FLORIDA UP NORTH ARE BACKED UP BY A LOT OF CARRIERS UP TO 6 WEEKS.THIS ORDER WAS GETTING PICKED ON THE 3RD DAY OF WINDOW AND THIS IS A CASE OF CUSTOMER THAT DOESN'T HAVE ANY PATIENCE.
