My experience with Cross Country Auto Transport was like most of the others listed here. The contract process went flawlessly, and they were friendly and professional. My original pickup date with Cross Ccountry was Sept 1 or 2. When the vehicle was not picked up, I called and Tiffany (who did the quote/contract part of the transaction) said due to the hurricane, my vehicle would not be picked up until Sept 5 or 6. No problem, I said. The whole week of the 5th went by and my car was still not picked up. On Sept 12, I called again and Betty in Customer Service said my car would be picked up at the end of the week, Sept 14, 15 or 16, most likely the 16th. For sure, she said. Well, that came and went. I left messages with Betty on the 15th, 16th, 19th, and 20th. I also sent email to the company president Louis Molina on the 19th. It is now the 21st and I have not received a call or return email. My car has still not been picked up. I have cancelled my order (though who knows what's going on, they never answer the phone or call me back so all I could do was leave a message telling them to cancel), and told the dealership not to let anyone with Cross Country pick up my car. I asked the credit card company to get my deposit back, which they did.
I am kicking myself for not checking out this site before I entered into a contract. I just didn't know it existed. A painful learning experience, I guess.
