First of all, I am very particular about my vehicle so naturally having it shipped across the country was a big deal for me. After doing some math with gas and my time, I figured it would run me $700 bucks and 2 days of cross country driving. And that $700 bucks and 2 days does not count the wear and tear on the vehicle and the body. With that said, I was led to looking online to see what was out there in terms of shipping my vehicle. During the research, I came across Crosslands Express and Matt (the owner).
I have to say that Matt runs a VERY tight ship and customer service is no doubt his very first priority. He is an honest business man who truly does care about his customers. Within about 5 hours, he was able to locate a driver who was able to work within my schedule to have it loaded on an open trailer from Denver, CO to Orlando, FL. With me needing the vehicle by Monday and my flight to Orlando arriving on Sunday evening, I was up against 3 things.....
1. With no real address in Orlando yet, where would I have the driver drop it?? 2. Without me there yet, would the driver just put it on the side of the road?? 3. How would I get vehicle once it was dropped off??
This is were Matt stepped up and displayed to me just how much his customers mean to him!! He offered to allow the driver to delivery my vehicle to his home, AND, on top have this, Matt offered to pick me up at the airport late Sunday night and drive me across town to his house to retrieve my vehicle!! All things he didn't have to do, but showed me just how much he appreciated my business and his integrity on his word that everything we had discussed prior to the shipping of my vehicle, he would be there to stand behind his company!
Like I said in the beginning, with this being the first time doing this, I would say I was very anxious about placing my vehicle on the truck, to a stranger, to have it driven 2000 miles away with the hopes I would get it back in one piece. I would say that is probably a normal reaction if you care about your property, but Matt and his team of professionals at Crossland Express actually made it so very worth it!! Not only was the price good, but working directly with Matt was such a pleasure and eased my mind.
There is zero doubt that I will do ALL of my future business with him and his company on any and all my shipping needs!! I would encourage you to at least give him a call when your needs require shipping of your valuables!! Thanks Matt!!
