DAS Strikes Again

Made contact with DAS on April 21 2008. Was directed to them by the individual who sold me a vintage vehicle. He stated that he had used them twice in the past without any problems.
So, I actually called them on April 23 2008 and took them up on there quote of $1024.00, which they requested payment in full up front. That should have sent off a warning bell. But I was excited because they were going to pick up my vintage vehicle at the sellers location and deliver it to my front door.
Pickup was scheduled to happen within 6 to 14 days. Around the the 13th day I called them and left a detailed message. No response. I actually called them 4 more times this past week and again no response. I called again tonight 3 more times with a different phone and was able to get a warm live body on the other end of the line. He quickly dumped me or put me on hold twice. The 3rd time no one responded to my call. The web site they advertize to you while you are on hold no longer exist.
My only recourse at point in time is to contact my cc company and request a refund due to lack of activity by DAS to full their contract with me.
So, the moral to this story is, if you want to be kept in the dark by a transport company, DAS is the one for you to call.
