I shipped a car to my son in the Air Force. Everything went exactly as described by DAS. I paid extra for top of carrier and to pick-up in my town. If you delete these two options, the cost would have been around $1150 for coast to coast. This was an excellent experience and no problems at all. I highly recommend DAS. It was a nightmare trying to figure out who to use for shipping. I spoke with a friend of mine who ships exotic cars and he recommended DAS to us. I'm so glad we took his recommendation. One thing I would do differently is to drop the car off at a DAS terminal and then pick-up at a DAS terminal (it makes everything easier). The DAS terminal holds the car for 5 days without fees.
