Direct Connect agreed to pick up my car in California on 3/8 and deliver it to North Dakota in five days. As we came closer to the pickup date, Carlos quit responding to my calls and emails. They never showed up for the pickup. The seller of the car made a 1 1/2 hour trip to release the car to Direct Connect. He was understandably disappointed. After not be able to talk to anyone at Direct Connect that had any knowledge on the pickup date, Carlos finally replied the day after and said the cost would now be $400+ more. I was certainly not going to pay another $400+ to ship the car when I already had a signed contract at $1368. After I submitted at well-deserved 0-star review, Direct Connect reported to transportreviews.com that I was not a customer of theirs. Seriously?? My shipping number with Direct Connect was 20207. I think that additional level of dishonesty deserves another 0-star rating. Of course, I submitted my documentation to transportreviews.com and I'm sure my temporarily hidden review will again show on transportationerviews.com after they review the documentation I submitted.
