I picked Direct Express after reading their excellent reviews on Transportreviews.com.

I can't be happier that I did!!! Everything was painless - the quote was automatic and very competitive ($1100 for a move from Pittsburgh, PA to San Jose, CA). The ordering was easy and within moments, I had a confirmation.

Then the good part begins. Within a day, I had a transporter assigned to my move. The car was picked up on Monday evening (June 16th) by Motion Express. The driver and his assistant were very courteous and professional as they noted the minor scratches and dings already on the vehicle. When I asked when they expected to get to California, he said he would be there by Friday night and I could get it Friday night or possible Saturday morning. "Yeah right!!" I thought to myself as I watched my car leave (I could not see their truck since I live up a very windy hill road.)

On Saturday (June 21st), I got a call at 11 AM saying my car was ready to be picked up. I was stunned - this was fantastic service. I went over to the parking lot where we were supposed to meet and the transporter showed up within 30 minutes. Upon loading, not only was my car absolutely free of any new scratches or dings, it did not even need a wash!!!!

Everything was as I had left it - they had not even made seat adjustments to drive the 2 miles from my home to their truck in Pittsburgh (2 miles that they had walked to come pick my car up). And the odometer had incremented exactly 2.3 miles from the reading when I had given it to them.

Being very pleased, I gave the driver a $150 tip which he was reluctant to accept, saying he'd just done his job. Ahhhh, refreshing to see this attitude in today's world where everyone seems entitled to a tip for doing their everyday jobs.

I forced the tip upon him anyway. I was too impressed with their professionalism, happy attitude and their delivery on their commitment.

Thank you Direct Express, for making this potentially painful process as hassle free as possible. Not only will I look to you for my next move but I will also promote you to everyone I know who needs a vehicle transported.
