Overall, my experience with Domestic Auto Transport was pretty smooth.

I needed a car to be transported from Oregon to California. I called on Wednesday 12/30/09 to pickup the car on Sunday 1/3/10. They actually picked up the car on Monday instead which was pretty fast considering that I didn't give them a week's notice like what their website stated. Although they did email me when they picked up the car, I would've preferred a direct phone call instead.

They promised my car to be delivered on Wed. 1/6/10. Come Wednesday, my car doesn't show up; I get no phone calls, no email, nothing. I called them the next day to find out what's going on with my car. Even they were surprised that my car hadn't been delivered yet, so they called the driver. Later that day, Ryan, my primary contact person, called me to inform me that the driver will make it on Friday and that the driver would call me to let me know when he would arrive.

The reason the driver didn't call me until Friday was that he was given the wrong phone number. I didn't notice this until the driver pointed it out to me (he was given a number that was off by 1 digit). Nevertheless, the car came on Friday in one piece.

Despite all of my setbacks, I would recommend this company to others. I understand this company and the people that actually do the driving are independent from each other. This leads me to believe that the reason my car was a little late was because of the drivers, not the transport company itself. Great company overall; they're very prompt and will answer any questions you have about the whole process.

Thanks Peter! I tried hard for you on this! The first week back after the holidays is very busy! I try my best to make every phone call needed! We send out email confirmations that should always be looked over to make sure we have all info correct! So sorry the # was a little wrong.. All in all, it all worked out!
