If I had to ship my POV again I would use Domestic

The military will only pay to ship one vehicle, so we had to figure out the shipment of our second car back to the mainland on our own. Initially I used the internet to get quotes, and for days afterward was overwhelmed with replies with outlandish quotes both on the high and low side; I am so glad that I found this review site and was able to do some real comparison on the quality of the service provided to help narrow down the options. I chose Domestic Auto Transport because of their excellent review record, the clear explanantion of the shipping process I received from Malia after telephoning their office, and the price (which was on the low side of the average for the quotes I had received).

My car was delivered yesterday afternoon - 4 days early than expected, in the same condition as when I dropped it off at the port, and with no last minute changes to the price - Yeah!! I did experience a couple minor irritations during the process... Domestic's toll-free number did not work in Hawaii, and a direct number or link was never provided in any of their email correspondence to me, so I had to google their name and search for a phone number on their website. Also, I was responsible for dropping off my vehicle at the Port in Honolulu, but I never received any written instructions on where to go and what to bring with me, and subsequently neglected to bring a document that I then had to return to my residence and fax a copy to the shipper before the car could be processed for shipment. Once the vehicle was underway, however, I received regular updates from Domestic both by email and phone letting me know that a transporter had been assigned, that my vehicle had been picked up, and updates from the driver as to his arrival time as well. Overall, I am very pleased and would highly reccommend Domestic Auto Transport.

Thank you for the great review Rich and Andrea, it was a pleasure working with you guys. Hope your road trip across country was enjoyable and I still think Mt.
