Domestic Auto - a broker with personality

Picking a broker is hard, especially when you won't be with the vehicle on either pickup or delivery. And especially when you break down towing a trailer and traveling with three cats, a wife and your son!

You want someone you feel will act fast and whom you can trust. I received quotes from $550 to $1300 for the same service: NJ to FL. It's off season / wrong way so lots of slots available.

One service was high pressure sell - but they did provide a lot of information about the process (first time shipper, I was). Another service promised low cost but was a bit cagy about when exactly the car would be picked up / delivered.

A choice close to my delivery site had a very slick, computer generated web site with pages and pages of fluffery which put me off.

I chose Domestic Auto Transport due to (1) their price being middle, (2) offered immediate pickup, and (3) they actually had a *personality* (facebook pages showed real folks, not some faceless who-knows-who).

Would I use these folks again? They're on the short list. Their price was perhaps 15% higher than I'd have liked but they got the car moved instantly. There are cheaper places if you're not on a time schedule. Otherwise these folks will get the job done.
