NEVER use this company!! They are unreliable and I will tell you why. Please do me a favor and yourself a favor AND find another car carrier - you WILL thank me later!!
At first, as usual, company was willing to work with me. Came off the price by $60. Initially, off to a great start. The date was 6/25/12 - - - BUT - - - they guaranteed pick-up within five days.
Two weeks later, they provided a window - 9 July through 13 July.
On 7/5/12 I emailed Kirby Rice and he responded with the same pick-up window - 7/9/12 - 7/13/12.
On 7/11/12, I emailed Kirby again but received no response.
On 7/12/12, I called to speak with customer service. At first the conversation was okay. He told me the pick up window was 7/9 - 7/13 but there was no one out there scheduled to pick up the car.
I asked him if they guaranteed pick-up within the five day window and he said yes. I asked if no one picked up the car tomorrow (7/13) would I receive a discount because they did not pick up when they said they would. He said no because they already knocked off $60 as a discount to begin with.
I asked again because they guaranteed pick-up and then he changed his story to say they did not guarantee pick-up.

I asked if they DID guarantee or DID NOT guarantee pick-up and he responded "Yes." Being confused because you can't do both, I asked which is it - do you GUARANTEE OR DO YOU NOT GUARANTEE?? He said yes. I then said this is an oxymoron (defined as a self contradiction). He then proceeded to accuse me of calling him a name and insulting him. I asked him if he knew what an oxymoron was and he accused me again of calling him a name and insulting him. He then said he was ending the call and hung up on me.
I called back hoping to get another customer service representative but he answered the phone again. I proceeded to explain to him that an oxymoron is a contradiction. He once again said I was insulting him by calling him a name and then he decided to to bring race into the conversation. At this point I was getting upset. He then said that he was cancelling my pick-up request because I insulted him by calling him a name and insulting his race - he then hung up the phone.
I sent an email to Kirby who responded that he was protecting the customer service representative and would terminate my order.
This is a ridiculous company. They do not know what they are doing business-wise and their customer service representative has no idea how to operate as a representative of the company.
I waited three weeks only to have them cancel my order. I have a car sitting over 1000 miles away at a dealership and now I have to start over and find another car carrier. Please, PLEASE do not work with this company. There are others out there more professional and willing to support the customer and work with the customer. Thank you-
