Ellie Waterford of Exceptional Transport started out fantastic, wanting to save me from "another predator company". Politely returning calls from other companies who wanted to accommodate my needs, I was made aware that my job was posted incorrectly by another competitor vying for my business. Ellie from Exceptional had my (2) trucks posted for Southbound only. Truck #1 was supposed to go Southbound first and Truck #2 was supposed to be coming Northbound. When I told Ellie that she had it posted incorrectly, she disputed the statement and told me everything was fine. After waiting 3 days, the carrier that was supposed to pick up my Truck #1, then ended up dropping me last minute, because he claims that he was supposed to be picking up 2 vehicles total. This was both inconsiderate to the trucker/carrier C Major Transportation, Devon Lee and me. When I found this out, it was a Saturday. Ellie was not available (as promised) instead a Receptionist re-posted my job. I realize that there is a human error factor but Ellie never addressed this problem from the beginning. I now was bound by contract. I wanted to cancel this service totally. No one would return my phone calls or address my concerns. As a result, I put my credit card company on alert. I did not hear from anyone until an additional week later; the dispatcher from Exceptional telling me that they would be picking up my first truck the next day. I told her that I had cancelled service by voice mail, as no one would return my call. The Exceptional dispatcher said I would be charged $200 anyway because of the contract and abruptly hung up on me. I never received any apologies from Ellie or the Owner of the company regarding this whole mishap. Ellie Waterford of Exceptional Auto Transporters never followed up or "held my hand" through this procedure as promised by her. I was very disappointed and disillusioned and getting afraid to pursue this task. In the end, I was successfully helped professionally by Magnum Transport Co., Tony Maresca, who took care of me immediately with no binding contract fee at all until services were properly rendered.
