Warning! I would 'X 'out of this company’s website as soon as you finish reading this review. Grunoman lures you in with their rock bottom pricing. They charge you $75.00 up front and lock you in for 10 business days (2 weeks). The website looks legitimate, but it is NOT recognized by the Better Business Bureau or heard of in the auto transport world. Mario told me “This is a popular route (OH to CA) we should have you on a truck in 2-3 days no problem.” I call them back 5 days later and ask why the car has not moved yet? “Oh it should have been picked up let me make some calls. I’ll call you by the end of the day.” This is their favorite line btw and they NEVER called me back each time I called. I did some research and called other brokers for shipping quotes and they gave me a great deal more insight than the shady personnel at Grunoman. The other brokers said my bid (suggested and put in by Grunoman) was too low and it would be a long time to get it picked up at that price. I called Grunoman back and told them do what it takes to get this car moving out here, get counter offers, up my price etc… I am quoted a price and assume that they know what they are doing and they take care of it to actually earn their broker fee. In summary, Grunoman finally found me a no-name transport company (equally terrible) just a few hours before the 10 business days were up and $425.00 more than originally quoted ($975 became $1400.00). It took three frustrating weeks to get my car out here. Go with top rated brokers on transportreviews.com and pay a little extra for their broker fees. You should not pay ANY up front costs until a shipper has been assigned. You get what you pay for.
