Heartland was the FOURTH auto transport company we had contacted in regards to this transport. We had gotten the run around from three other companies, even two with good reviews as per this website. No returned calls, false "guaranteed" pickup dates, no updates, etc. As a last resort, I contacted Heartland as they appeared to be operated by a few people as opposed to a large staff.

Chari picked up the phone within two rings and gave me an honest, worst case assessment of how long it might take to transport the vehicle. Unlike other companies, I would not have to wait for a "full truck." Also, Chari was the ONLY person I would be contacting, and there was no chance of "this voice mailbox is full" messages. I was told the car would be picked up within 7-10 days and transport may take another 7-10 days, but probably less time. Within an hour and a half of placing the order, Chari called me back with contact information of the driver as well as the date the car would be picked up. She also told me that driver would contact my relative at the origin location 24 hours prior to pickup and let me know within 24 hours of drop off.

The car was picked up on the day Chari had told us (4 days earlier than the initial estimate!) and transported in 5 days. The driver (Tom from Eagle Eye Trucking) was great to deal with, and even apologized for being "late," (due to horrible winter weather in PA) even though it was under the initial estimate! The car was dirty, but that was expected from an open carrier, not a big deal. No damage, and it was ready for us to drive away.

Overall, this home-run company provided a level of service far superior to those with flashy websites and promises of "guarantees." They were honest, kept us informed instead of us having to hound them, and were well worth the amount we paid for. This is the kind of service I expect from people running a business and I was not disappointed at all. Highly recommended!
