Nice people but poor job

My car was picked up and delivered on time but with EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. I used Hilton Auto Transporters to transport my 2005 luxury sedan from Texas to New Jersey. I chose Hilton largely because of all the positive reviews from this site. My initial contact with Hilton was very positive. Nicole was friendly, forthcoming with information, and reassuring that my stringent timeline could be met. Unfortunately, it does not seem that Hilton Auto Transporters screened the carrier used for my car, Devin Auto Carriers, as my car was delivered with almost a $1000 worth of damage. To add to this, the auto carrier refused to cover the damage, even after admitting negligence, and made several threatening phone calls to me. I spoke to Nicole regarding this issue and while she was empathetic, she only made one phone call to the carrier, which resulted in very little new information and did not affect the outcome of the situation. Furthermore, she stopped returning my phone calls and Hilton Auto Transporters has not taken any part in my struggle to get coverage from the carrier. I would strongly recommend AVOIDING Hilton Auto Transporters.
