Use of, and dealing with Jay' Auto Transport, Inc.

I had a pcik up truck I purchased in Michigan and needed transported to my home in Tennessee. I checked the internet for car haulers and found several and received several bids. First of all, Jay's Auto Transport was among the least expensive. I could have gone back and drove the truck back myself. But after seeing Jay's price, it would have cost me more to do that. So, I contacted Jay. That was the clincher. It turned out that it wasn't just the cost because I would have paid more if I did not "feel" a trust in the hauling company. Jay was very personal, it was obvious that he was experienced and he knew that this kind of activity was important to the customer. He was courteous and friendly and able to answer all my questions. Not only able, but very willing. I was not told there would be any delays. There were no hidden costs. All of that. It was just a very plain and simple transaction and it went off so smoothly it was even a pleasure. I was amazed when Jay told me that my truck would be picked up in two days at the very most and then delivered very soon after the pick up. Here's the kicker - it was Labor Day Weekend. The truck was picked up on the second day after I contacted Jay. It was picked up from my son who was holding it for me. My son contacted me and said all went well and the driver was a perfect gentleman. The truck was loaded and on its way. The very next morning I received a call from the driver who told me he was about a half hour out from my home. I gave him additional directions and we met about forty five minutes after the call. The driver was again, courteous and friendly and knowledgable. The unloading process took only a few minutes and I checked the truck over. It was in excellent condition and very obvious nothing had gone wrong during the pick up or the transport. I contacted Jay after the drop off to let him know that everything went well. He was very polite and genuinely happy that I was pleased with his company's service. I told him, if the opportunity arises, I would recommend his company to anyone, anytime. He saved me a lot of running back and forth and overall cost. My rating for Jay's Auto Transport is EXCELLENT. My rating for Jay himself is also EXCELLENT and one who goes above and beyond to please his customer.
